This collection contains correspondence (1881-1931), literary manuscripts, newspaper clippings, memorabilia, patriarchal blessings, lectures, and writings of family members. The literary manuscripts include examples of Whitney's speeches and writings. The correspondence and newspaper clippings relate largely to the publication and to the reviews of many of his writings.
